the case has been dismissed. i'm not clear if it ever even happened, sounds like a case of severe baby mama drama. IMO she was afraid she was losing her meal ticket, although as the father he'd have to pay child support either way. if it was fabricated or she did it herself, shouldn't she be charged with filing a false report?

i think you're the mistaken one...Owens became enemy #1 after that game, and Grimes was the all new rage, who could cover as good as Aso and should start over Dunta lol...you forgot life.atl that quick? now, most the level-headed people who said, "Owens is a gifted young player who should mature" have kept the same stance, as they did with Grimes, as they did with Roddy, as they do with Ryan and HD...if you haven't figured out yet, it's the people who make outlandish comments i.e. "Ryan is a bust" "Ryan is Jesus" that flip flop on their ideals from game to game.

It is quite possible that she excepted a monetary deal of some sorts to drop the charges. This happens every day. The fact that she wasn't charged with filing that false report would support this thinking. Chances are he did it and his lawyer paid her off to drop everything. Nothing the cops or DA could do about it.

I can drop names of multiple people, who even after the Bengals game where Owens was shredded said that he didn't have a bad game and that Grimes performed worse than everyone else, or even that he was our worst starting player on defense.

Link me to where people said that Grimes could cover as good as Aso. I don't see what is so outlandish about saying he should start over Dunta though.
