This was a great weekend for the Falcons. Not only did they win, but according to playoffstatus.com, the odds of them making the playoffs with 10 wins is 84% now, up from 66% last week.

So it was a good weekend all the way around for the Falcons.

RE: Playoffstatus.com
I REALLY want the Bears and Cowboys to lose some more. I think the Bears will miss the playoffs due to Jay being out.
But Cowboys, how do they keep winning?

I'm with you. If they had lost the last two that were so close, it would effectively eliminate an NFC East Contender for the WC (either the Boys would win both against the Giants, knocking the Giants out...or they wouldn't, and the Boys would have been knocked out).

Just keep hoping the Giants, Bears, and Lions lose and the Falcons win.

Interesting site. Where's you get the 10 wins scenario being 84% (up from 66%)? I can't find that page.

It's on the Falcons "What If" page.

Looking at all these percentages just makes me angry we couldn't squash Tampa Bay like we should have.

I remember seeing the MLB version earlier in the year (Braves were 99% and Cardinals were under 1%)... we know how all that turned out.

Well I'd say that those percentages were accurate since it was the first time in baseball history a team had blown a league that big in September.

technically 2 teams because Boston blew their load too...weird how things go but I don't see any sort of implosion on our end. We are definitely hitting our stride. I think our offense is hitting it as well as our defense and once we build that killer instinct which I think is right around the corner we will be dangerous.

RE: Playoffstatus.com
Interestingly, the Falcons chances of making the playoffs this weekend actually improved.
