No one who watched that game including the announcers and the players afterwards came away saying "Man the Falcons were hammering Brees! He had to run for his life back there!". What actually happened is Brees sat back in the pocket with almost no rush whatsoever around him and picked the secondary apart at his leisure. The only time in the entire game I remember any actual pressure was when we actually had his knee down for a sack but the biased refs let the play go as an incomplete pass. Aha thats too funny Me a troll? That reply to your comment was anything but trolling. Im not saying we had that GB pressure or Pitt pressure but we did apply pressure and made him move around the pocket a good amount. You really think if we had no pressure wat so ever like you say Bress wouldn't have picked us apart? Cmon Man!!! He would have put of crazy numbers if we had no pressure. |

Brees was 30-43 (69.8%) with 322 yards passing (7.5 per attempt), two TD's, zero picks for a 106.9 QB rating. Those are pretty damn good numbers. And I don't know what game you were watching, but he had tons of time all game. Those times he did have to throw the ball away were coverage related, not rush related. I have seen every snap of every Saints game since direcTV came out with Sunday Ticket (awesome) and know quite well when Brees is getting real pressure. And as far as the receivers making great catches, I assume you are talking about those back shoulder throws. That's the whole point when you have an extremely accurate QB and receivers (be they WR, TE or RB) that can make that difficult catch. Saints Fan Since 1967

D.Brees 30-43 322 2TD Im not arguing with his stats bud. His stats are there but how people are trying to say that we had no pass rush is BS!!! He would have went30 for 30 if we had no pass rush. He would have marched up and down the field with more TDs and Yards if we had no rush. Check the other topic I started he had pressure around him forcing him to be moving and him knowing he had to get it out quick. If we would have faced any other QB in the league other then Rodgers and Brady we would have had sacks. D.Brees is just so ridiculous good at getting the ball out of his hands before 3 seconds. GTFO lmao extremely accurate ahahaha if you want to see Extremely Accurate check out A.Rodgers bud. D.Brees under threw a couple balls against us. |

Yes, extremely accurate. Guess who holds the NFL record for completion percentage for a season? Drew Brees in 2009 at 70.6%. Guess what his completion percentage is for this season as of today? 70.9%. Yes, that is better than his record setting season. True, if Rodgers keeps up his 72.9% pace he'll be the record holder, but Brees will still have two of the best three seasons ever for accuracy. Sounds to me like he's pretty damned accurate. I guess you perceive accuracy about as well as you do pressure.

Im not saying Brees isn't accurate tho cuz that would be a lie. Brees tho can get rattled and dumps off to his Rbs a lot while Rodgers is in a class of his own. Ohh and ps Brees has 299 comp. 123 of them are to you WRs!!! lol talk about Dink and Dunk to get your completion % up lol |

I can't believe I am typing the following but thank God we have a Saints fan here. Brees was under NO pressure in that game. I honestly can not believe anyone thinks he was. I feel like I'm arguing with Bizarro superman about what pressure is.
