Honestly, it makes no matter what he makes so much as how he helps a team. The guy would be a huge upgrade there and we'd only need to slide Hayden over and on Nickel just move DRob to Nickel and insert Decoud at FS.

Dunta is 4 games in... Hayden is 2 games in... I'm giving everyone 6 games to get their act together. DR has made some great plays, but other times he's been out of position. I'm not sure if it was entirely his fault though.

I'm really getting fed up with this defense. It's the same damn issues over and over and over again: No pressure on opposing QBs. DBs looking lost in coverage. Missed tackles. Stupid mental lapses that lead to long TD plays.

This D has now gone three full games without recording a single sack. Three games. Honestly, I'm hard pressed to recall even a single pressure in those three games (OK, we did beat the hell out of Vick, but that seems ages ago.)

What Tavaris Jackson did to us today is just plain fucked up. We are now 27th in points allowed and 22nd in yards allowed. I can't see any conceivable way we improve on those rankings after next Sunday night based on what I have witnessed the first quarter of this season.

The "It's correctable. We'll get it fixed." lip service is really, really tired at this point. I hate to say it, but I think a coordinator change may be in order after this season, if not sooner.

Just thinking about that TD that Grimes gave up. It appeared to me that either he was expecting help or or he thought the play had been blowne dead.

Anyway Dunta plays the same scheme as Grimes, but Dunta plays off his man much futher than Grimes does which explains why he rarely gets an interception or even a tip ball. I love Dunta's agressive play, but he just can't stay with his man.

Defenses all over the league are giving up massive yard numbers this year. The bears gave up 500 yards yesterday. The pack bleeds yards. We should be able to compensate on offense with more points we should have put 35-40 pts on them yesterday.
