Numbers Never Lie on Win Probability
Numbers Never Lie makes the point on last call of the game.
Our win percentage was 50.4% by going for it on 4th down, and only 41.4% if we had punted. Mike increased our win percentage by 9% with that call. It was statistically right, even if we didn't execute. I can live with the call. Formerly SBC Falcon

RE: Numbers Never Lie on Win Probability
I can live with going for it, but I feel that we should have reconsidered the play call. Either a QB sneak or a play action pass to the TE or FB
Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.

RE: Numbers Never Lie on Win Probability
Agree and agree. I also liked how Smith stepped up to own the decision. Also pleased at how the Falcons stepped up at the end of regulation. However it is clear that this team needs help designing plays to punch it into the end zone and/or get the big yard at crunch time.
