Falcons: No respect for our front 7

Watching/reading reviews from the media outside ATL, one thing was apparent:

Chris Johnson played like crap. Chris Johnson could not get anything going. Chris Johnson couldn't get the tough yards. Chris Johnson's holdout is affecting his play.

No mention, whatsoever, that our front 7 held him to his lowage yardage total of the entire season (28 total yards from scrimmage).

did i hear the announcers sunday say that the Falcons have the 3rd rated run defense? and that we haven't allowed a 100 yard game to a single rushing oppenent in double digit games? of course after hearing some of the crap that came out of their mouths, i don't know if i believe that either.

but your post is why we should obviously NOT let anything the media says bother us.

It's true and our run defense is now rated #2 (thanks to CJ and his 12 yards or so). Our pass defense is ranked #26, hopefully Hayden can recover soon and William Moore can be put in the safety spot with James Sanders, take out Decoud.

It's true we are the #2 ranked rush defense and we have not let one individual break 100yds on us all season the closest was lesean mccoy I believe n he had like 80sometin yrds.

This season has been much more enjoyable than last season in that regard. About mid season last year I finally reached my saturation point with the media and all their arrogance, ignorance and stupidity and just stopped listening or viewing altogether. It has worked wonders, I highly recommend it. Just ask yourself this, aside from the (very) few good ones such as Mike Mayock, do you really, honestly give a shit what they think. I don't so why waste my time essentially watching the NFL version of The View.

I will say it again and again....

Taking ANYTHING talking heads say seriously is setting yourself up for not only disappointment, but usually the shit they say is so retarded it makes you feel like your IQ dropped 50 points just hearing it. Stop worrying about that bullshit. YOU watch the games! YOU know more about the Falcons than they do, and they are paid to know this stuff and still don't! Seriously, just stop getting your panties in a wad about it or stop paying attention to them completely.

I havent heard ESPN or the NFL Network talk about our win vs the Titans period... That game was just 1 of 2 matchups with both teams having a winning records... Most have the saints a lock for the NFC South champs and we are only a game.... I just dont get it... Its cool tho.. We can fly under the radar...

That's the worst part of it. Many of these guys are ex players and coaches who DO know how it really works on the inside. They have the opportunity and ability to provide true insight, having the type of access we would love to have, but instead they decide to go all 90210 with it. Simply pathetic.
