Also a side note.....the AFC is not a real powerhouse....either....Look at who his wins were against.....we don't get cream puffs....we typically draw the team that is on absolute fire! You can't blame Ryan for that....sure he had 2 big mistakes....but seriously saying Flacco is better than Ryan because of hsi playoff record honestly makes you look VERY ignorant....So you are telling me Dilfer is a better QB than Ryan? saying ryan would have won super bowls in baltimore is wishful thinking at best. first off he loses 9 comfy carpeted climate controlled dome games a year. have you seen him outdoors in cold weather games? yea hes matty ice alright. now take away 3 shitty defenses he gets to play by default twice per year and trade them in for the ground and pound afc north. in the nasty weather. this is why flacco can make plays in the playoffs. hes battle tested. take away those 3 elite targets to throw to as well. the rb is a moot point because ryan has ridden turner half his career. i think theres more to it than you think. id take flacco over ryan in the cold any day. especially playoffs.

The receiving core this year wasn't all that different. Torrey Smith has been balling, and Anquan Boldin is great, flacco doesn't trust his guys.

Ryan's rookie contract was for 6 years and $66 million. Obviously he'll get more, but how much more? Hopefully nothing as bad as Brees and his organization crippling deal. I'd like to see a contract for 6 years in the $100 to $110 million range.

BTW, Brees cap hit each of the remaining years:

$17.4 mil.
$18.4 mil.
$26.4 mil.
$27.4 mil.

I agree, he will get a Brees size contract, but hoping that Ryan will bottom load his contract, it so we can get some players the next couple of years, so we can get to the promised land next year.

My opnion is Ryan is more of a clutch player than Flacco, but Ryan hever had the defense that Flacco had, if he had we would be on our 3 super bowl by now.

wasnt all that different? even in his old age gonzo is still a top 5 or 10 te. both roddy and julio are top ten receivers. neither boldin or smith are close to top ten.
