I like this move, Carson was good before. Matt Ryan can learn a lot from this guy when it comes to the passing game and getting the ball down field.

How about you stop blindly sniffing Smitty's jock and explain what makes you think he can help Matt any more than somebody that maybe....played quarterback....at any level. All he is is Mularkey insurance.

And ignore his 30+ years of football coaching experience? Dang, if only he played QB back in the 70's, DaMeatTrough would know he is a great QB coach. But since 35 years ago he played WR in college, the man is retarded and couldn't use his 30+ years of football coaching experience to coach a QB out of a sack.

Sorry I mentioned guys who have had success who did the hire, and said they are smarter than you. Smitty never played in the NFL, so it is a god damn travesty he is coaching a team. Yes, he retired in the early 80's, but clearly doesn't have the talent to make it here. He has no experience hiring coordinators, either. Disgusting.

I believe Ryans coaching was maxed out with Musgrave.
This is a decent move. Some insite from the WR perspective may be nice.

Dave Duncan, the pitching coach of the St. Louis Cardinals was a catcher in the bigs. And he is one of the best pitching coaches in MLB. Just sayin'

The hoody came in the game as a Special Team Coach

Tom Brady talks about how Coach Bill Belichick helps him as a QB.... Coach Belichick was never a QB coach... The only thing he has coached on offense as a assistant is as a WR coach.

My point is guys who know the game may know more then just they position....

Its like philly hiring there O-Line Coach to be their new DC.... Who knows a way to disrupt an O-Line then a guy who coached O-Lineman.

Like i said... I dont know if this is a good or bad move.... We will have to see.... I understand it tho.

He can give a receiving insight plus he could be a OC in waiting if Mularkey gets a HC job next year.

We will see how it works tho.
