His system was pretty close to Mularkey's right? Not sure how I feel about this.

Sorry I acknowledged your baseless opinion in the first place. I have learned my lesson. I will also now put Smitty's personnel decisions below yours.

I just know... Carson Palmer was one of the best QB;s in the league before the elbow injury... I also know their offense was powerful before Carsons injury..

I just know the guy ran a powerful Offense when he had a QB...

I want to wait and see what happens before i see is this good or bad...

I know they had a great offense, even when they could never get all the pieces together at the same time. They tried to get QB, WR, TE, RB, and OL all at a high level, but never at the same time. Brat was never the weak point...

Bob Bratkowski agrees to be new QB Coach
9:25 pm February 12, 2011, by D. Orlando Ledbetter

Bob Bratkowski has agreed to become the Falcons new quarterbacks coach. (Associated Press)
Bob Bratkowski, the son of former Georgia standout Zeke Bratkowski, has agreed to become the Atlanta Falcons new quarterbacks coach, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.

“Obviously it’s a quality organization from the top down,” Bratkowski said when reach by phone. “It’s a winning organization. Obviously to coach a quarterback like Matt Ryan and be on a quality staff in the NFL is very attractive.”

The Falcons defeated the Bengals last season at the Georgia Dome.

“Anytime you win as many games as they have over the last three years they are doing a lot of things extremely right,” Bratkowski said. “That’s easy to be attracted to.”

Bratkowski served as the Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator from 2001 to 2010. He is credited with developing quarterback Carson Palmer.

He was fired after the 2010 season and Palmer has since requested a trade from the team.

Bratkowski played wide receiver in college at Washington State.

He coached in the college ranks at Missouri, Weber State, Wyoming and Miami.

He made the jump to the NFL in 1992 with the Seattle Seahawks. He became their offensive coordinator in 1995.

He also coached with the Pittsburgh Steelers before taking the offensive coordinator position with the Bengals.

Zeke, his father, played quarterback for 14 seasons in the NFL, seeing action for the Bears, Rams and Packers.

I know he's gotta be happy to get out of that circus up there to come to a franchise that has a direction and a chance !

yea... for years their offense was powerful... What mess them up is Carson hasnt been the same since the injury.

This move may help Matt get a WR point of view of what he should look for... Also.. I think Coach Smith is gearing up for if Mularkey leaves in the near future... We will have our next OC ready.

Well, who was their RB before Benson? A revolving door of crap, that's who.

What tight end have they had that can catch more 1 pass a game?

Offensive line has finally come together recently.

Of course, their WR's have fallen apart... or at best, lost consistency.

I didnt say they was complete.... Also Rudi Johnson was really good for 3 or 4 years... But yea.. Im not saying they was complete... I was just saying the QB play and Offense as a whole
