Now stop trying to be provocative on a message board and put Mularkey's d*ck back in your mouth, he needs you more than we do. |

Coming from someone who is obsessively trolling anyone who is even the slightest bit critical of Mularkey, you have absolutely no room to talk. I mean all someone has to think/say is that they believe we are a better team with Ryan calling the plays than MM calling them and you immediately claim they're all in some big "agenda group full of fire MM idiots" and you throw out insulting and antagonizing ignorant generalizations about them. You're a hypocrite, a whiner, and you can dish it out but sure can't take it in return without resorting to childish trolling. Well I can play your game if you like. We can go back and forth antagonizing each other with no real substance until they lock the thread for all I care. So when you're on your knees looking up into Mularkey's eyes, is this when he tells you how much control he has of this offense? Is this why you think you know more than Dave Archer? |

I am missing something with this David Archer stuff. Did he say that Mike Mularkey is doing a poor job as OC? I mean, let's just pretend for a minute that he would be qualified to make that evaluation. Did he say something to that effect?

Peyton Manning had total control of the offense in Indianapolis, and Tom Moore has always been considered a genius. So I don't see the logical jump that we should assume Ryan becoming more of a coach on the field means Mularkey has suddenly become incompetent. Especially when this team has won 42 games and lost 20 since MM has been here.

RE: Mularkey is just that, and he had nothing to do with Rodgers TD
I've made it no secret that i'm not a fan of MM at all. i do have to admit that while i haven't always liked/agreed with the plays he calls, he does put together some great game plans. others, not so much, but he can and does at times. The Philly game comes to mind instantly. putting the plan together to exploit their weak LB corp.
I'll go ahead now and throw in that when Matt comes to the LOS, doesn't he always pretty much have the 'authority' to change the play if he thinks the defense he sees dictates? so if he audibles to a play that gets blown up, that's on him, not MM. i'll also go ahead and say that as bad as our offense has been at times, MM has not one single time overthrown the ball, or dropped a pass, or killed a drive by reaching down from the booth and grabbing someone resulting in a penalty. The poor offensive showings we've put together on and off throughout the year have been more on execution, or lack thereof. To quote Jim McKay when asked about his players execution in one of the first years of TB, "i'm all for it"....cause they just couldn't do anything. some of our games have looked that way as well. all that said, while he has put together some great game plans in the years he's been here, there's also been a lot of times i've watched games and just sat there and SMH. More often than not IN MY OPINION, we don't seem to be able to make adjustments, or if we do they don't seem to work. just look at the majority of our 3rd quarters since he's been here. I just don't like MM, maybe it doesn't make sense to anyone else, and maybe i can't justify/explain it, i just don't like him. i still pull for our guys to win every week though... Chew on THAT, Petunia!

RE: Mularkey is just that, and he had nothing to do with Rodgers TD
MM leaves more to be desired. It's how he has underutilized his weapons and how some of the plays we can't stand seeing are still happening. Yes, maybe they are working in practice, but that isn't transferring to game time. Our plays and formations are too predictable at times. And one this I don't understand, and I don't know if this is MM fault or not, but why is it that other qb's in the league can get a call in, and just execute it with no audible necessary. Example being Aaron Rodgers. You rarely see him back off the line after a play is called.

It's because Aaron Rodgers is a street ball instinct player and Matt Ryan is a structured fundamental QB in the mold of Peyton Manning. Rodgers isn't doing a lot of presnap study of the defense. All he really wants to know is man or zone, because if it's man there is a back shoulder pass coming. |
