Someone, I think Beef, pointed out that this team is collaborative on the offensive side of the ball. That probably holds true for the defensive side as well. This is not some authoritarian regime run from the top down. We have a franchise now that is built for long-term success and functions as a true team should.
Its time for people to stop looking for someone to blame and start celebrating what the Falcons have been doing the past few years and continue to do this season. Blaming something/someone and making ridiculous accusations not based on fact is for fucking chumps. Don't be a chump. Our team identifies problems, corrects them, and has a proven track record under TD and Smitty of doing that very well. They aren't blaming fans and making excuses about why Atlanta fans are so pathetic, so why are fans doing the same thing to our team?
Ill tell you why, because our fans ARE pathetic and the reason why can not be explained/understood; or maybe it is too deep rooted and complicated to begin to address it.
Why are people so interested in who calls what plays and when they call them? Are people looking for evidence that MM is NOT earning his paycheck? Do people honestly believe he has done nothing for our team and sits around with his thumb up his ass? Matt is not going to be our OC and play QB for us. MM is not going to suddenly be relegated to having no control over our offense. I understand wanting to know, for information's sake, but the real reason people want to know is to lay more unnecessary blame. Its disgusting.
That about sums it up.
Logical deduction and complicated problem solving are not things most people feel comfortable doing. They would rather point a finger and say I told you so.
A voice of reason sounds in the echo chamber.
