Yeah, Nolan runs a Multi D. Love his attitude too and he's a Falcons fit. Love to have him.

I'd prefer the 3-4. We have a great LB squad. And we have 4 players already on the line that can't do a damn thing. Might as well add another player that can drop into coverage instead of a DE

I think Sid, Kroy , and Matthews could play rush 3-4 LB

if we could somehow get Mike Nolan, then I really think he could develop Sid into Dumerville 2.0 and then maybe we wouldn't have to ever use Lofton in coverage

We also need a MLB that can cover the pass. Lofton is still terrible in pass coverage.

My feelings exactly. Our defense played great in the first half. Our offense was deploreable and could not give our D rest. With Grimes out, Moore in the locker room and Nicholas absent, they played with anger and focus. Except for DeCoud, I applaud our defense. Our offense hung the D out to dry.

KOG is right look at the defensive tackles in jacksonville when smitty was the dcoord. the cover 2 doesn't work unless you have interior penetration. think sapp.

With a 3-4, there would be an extra body for help in the middle, or Lofton could be used to spy the qb or find a lane to get to the qb.
