Most 4th Quarter Comebacks Since 1966
Matt Ryan now has 18 4th quarter comebacks in his first 5 NFL seasons. That's the most in the NFL by a QB in his first 5 seasons since 1966. Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning and Jake Plummer all had 16.

I'd really rather not have to worry about coming from behind |

Well sure it would be awesome to dominate everybody all the time, but it just doesn't work that way in the NFL. It's good to know we've got a guy who can get it done when it matters most.

RE: Most 4th Quarter Comebacks Since 1966
i didn't say anything about dominating all the time. I'm more concerned with an unfocused D that lets a rookie second string QB hit a 77 yard TD pass to take the lead.
the last two games has brought up memories of 2010 to me, and I don't want it to end the same way. Not about dominating everyone, just about not slacking up |

That one play was a fluke. I'm glad it happened on a day where we could come back and win, because having had that happen (so it can be fixed and coached up) will help us in the long run.

Also, in the long term I'm thankful for the last two games. These types of games do way more to prepare you for post season adversity than 45-10. When we play other top teams and get behind I would much rather the team be able to say "no problem, been there done that" than say "oh shit" and panic. Was also impressed with Ryan who started out looking like he may have a bad game only to turn it around. Anyone that questions his ability now is either trolling their agenda driven burt hurt (swift, keyshawn, ...) or are just plain stupid (swift, keyshawn, ...) |

But he said with the way this game started this was normally a game where Ryan got down mentally and wasn't able to recover. But today he should a strong mental mindset to put those early mistakes behind him and will his team to victory. ![]()

although games like these are probably not good for my health, they are good for the team and I believe our guys are learning just as much from them as they would a loss so I would rather have these games then 5-0 blowouts

RE: Most 4th Quarter Comebacks Since 1966
The 2012 Falcons are giving me more for my entertainment dollar. Thrills and spills and we get the win in the end. This is not to suggest that I want to see the Falcons give the Raiders any chance at all, but if it happens to be a close game for awhile, so be it.
