Anyone wake up this morning and find out the Falcons won last night. Well they did, but in reality Mike Vick lost.

According to SI.com:
Vick certainly had flashes of brilliance against Atlanta, completing 19-28 for 242 yards…
Ryan was “gutsy” at 17-28. Sure he threw two more incompletions but he did toss 2 more TDs.

But it really isn’t Ryan’s fault. He isn’t the "vicktim" here.

Imagine if this writer had commited numerous felonies, lied to his bosses and friends about it then went to Federal prison and lost his job. Would it have been a banishment or the right thing to do?

All week long the press had been saying Ryan had to get this Vick issue of his back. The thing is it was never Ryan’s issue. He came in here and excised Vick and all his past Falcon history on his first pass, a touchdown. Vick has 71 career TD passes in Atlanta. Ryan (after yesterday) has 70. He will pass Vick after his next game, quickly diminishing Vick’s numbers from the record books and establishing himself, rightly so, as the greatest Falcon QB ever.

Matt is right up there with Bartowski, IMHO. In the end, he'll definitely be better than Bart.

wow, i didn't realize Ryan was so close to passing YKW's TD numbers. wouldn't it be sweet if he hit 100 this year? SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

it would have been nice if he'd have had two more yesterday to jump over that in the record book, but it will happen very soon, maybe even next week!

Maybe that concussion will knock some sense into the conVickt.

Has anyone checked on phalcon phil? Usually it took him all of 20 seconds to show up in a Vick thread. I hope he hasn't done something crazy, it's just a game after all!!

WTF!!!!!!

I'm tired of this kind of crap, Vick banished himself by being a dumbass and running an illegal multi state dog fighting and gambling ring.

What on earth were WE supposed to do with Vick in jail for almost 2 years? Play 10 on 11? Tank 2+ years waiting for him to come back and just hope he plays better then he did in 05 and 06?

After 2008 what place did Vick have on this team? Did we REALLY want a QB controversy with a rookie QB who we went 11-5 with and was drafted 3rd and had one of the best Rookie seasons in the NFL?

When will the media get it through there heads that WE were the victims here, the fans and the team were victimized by Vick's actions.

I'm so glad we won Sunday and making Vick bleed was icing on the cake.

It's a bunch of politically correct BS. Standard operation for the media in general. Even Jamaal Anderson (32 not 98) on the Falcons post game show on ch 11 was drooling all over himself talking about wishing he had the chance to play with Vick. Sickening. I guess they are scared that someone might think badly of them or call them a racist etc... But hey, we got the win, Vick got injured, got everything I wanted.
