Mike Smith discuss our D

Got the impression, even without him saying it, that Smith is expecting Nolan to be much more aggressive.

So if you're a #Falcons fan, you should be excited to see what Nolan will do on defense this season.

Also on the Falcons D, Smith indicated there will be some differences from years past in 3rd down packages with personnel etc with Nolan.

Falcons: I asked Mike Smith about Tatupu, he said his workout was really strong, change of direction was really good.

We are less than a week from the new uniforms.

I might be more excited than most about this, see, I lived in Seattle for a few years, and as a result, have a soft spot for the Seahawks, and they are amongst the teams making confirmed real changes to design a scheme.

I think I might be in the minority here, but I loved those neon green uniforms the Seahawks have.

Is there expected to be a major uniform change?

If we do I would rather the throwbacks permanently. Then all red from the 70's-80's for the Alternatives. I know it wont happen but...

There have been a few teams rumored to see major uniform changes, but I haven't seen the Falcons being named one of those teams.

But I have read that most teams will see at least a few minor tweaks like logo adjustments and the jersey cuts.

I'm tickled shitless by the thought of no more 3-3-5 packages with Bierman in coverage on 3rd downs.
