It's insane to see a QB rating change that much 11 games into a season.

RE: Matt Ryan
It was a rough game. But I always measure QBs (or any players) by how many games they're good vs. bad. A team will almost always lose with 2 or 3 INTs, 5 doesn't move the needle much.

As long as your QB is having 12 to 13 good games in a year, you'll be doing great. You hope the bad games are more like 60 passer rating instead of tons of turnovers, but still.

RE: Matt Ryan
We are just sloppy enough and good enough to keep pulling out wins. There is some luck but in reality there is a lot of skill and bad coaching on the other side. Luck doesn't exist.

Luke doesn't exist? How does one explain a ball that bounces in a teams favor one time and against the team the next?

RE: Matt Ryan
Saw this over on ESPN in the comments sections of one of the articles.

Quote:Looking at Matt's stats so far this season, it's amazing to see how much worse he has played against teams coming off a bye. In 3 games against teams coming off a bye (Oakland, Philadelphia, Arizona), Matt's stat line looks like this:

74/115, 812 Yards, 4 TDs, 8 INTs, 67.7 Rating

Compare that to games against teams not coming off a bye:

194/285, 2260 Yards, 16 TDs, 4 INTs, 104.7 Rating

The numbers are even more skewed when you consider Atlanta was coming off a bye as well against Philadelphia. If you remove that game and only consider Oakland and Arizona, Matt's stat line is

52/86, 550 Yards, 1 TD, 8 INTs, 44.2 Rating.

So Matt has had 2 bad games this season, and both opponents were coming off a bye and had an extra week to prepare.

Luke uses the force anyway. That ball goes wherever he wants it to go.

That's the problem - he should be using the Schwartz instead.
