Falcons: Matt Forte(PURE RANDOM SPECULATION)

How do yall feel about Matt Forte? Think he's pulling a Haynesworth or is he really that good? Do you think he would fit well on this team or is he too much of a luxury/too expensive? Any chance we go after him? We are going to have money to bring in our annual big acquisiton, so why not spend it on a back who will take our offense a step higher and preserve/be preserved by Michael Turner?

I'm sold on Jaquizz being our #1, but that's my thought on the matter.

At this point if we're gonna spend our annual big money on a star FA, I'd rather get a O-lineman. Honestly it's getting ridiculous having to watch Matt get pummeled because of inconsistency of the Line. Example, i was watching a good amount of the SD/Jax game and boy Gabbert had a second or two more then matty does a majority of the time.

I think up to this point in the season RB is way low on the list of things we need. Shoot plus we've got Aaron Snelling xD, so I think we're good.

FA/Draft needs (in no particular order)
1. LT/C - If Svitek stays around, get a 5th/6th round developer, assuming we address this in FA. McClure...I dunno he's on his last leg, maybe 1 or 2 more seasons.
2. DB - gotta help Grimes, and better depth at the Safety/CB Position.
3. DE - Abe, depending on if he would be willing to stay for cheap, we'll need his replacement. Unless you guys feel confident with Sidbury/Beerman.

I'm sure this will change but this is what I see if say the season ended now and my List of player positions that need solidifying.

Forte isn't going anywhere. Turner is still one of the best backs in the NFL.

Only one player has more yards TDs and carries since 2008. That's AP. Everyone would love to have him. Everyone but our fans would like to have Turner.

Oh no, this has nothing to do with Turner really. I love him too. This was about complimenting, not replacing. Turner would still be the starter.

I love Turner but in the future I hope we can get someone a bit more versatile that can catch the ball and stress defenses more (in the mold of Arian Foster, Lesean Mccoy, Matt Forte). Chargers offense (with Philip Rivers) has sputtered without Darren Sproles and the Saints offense got that much better.
