The not pounding it down their throat at the end, both of the last possessions we punted is what troubles me. I'm ok going on 4th and inches, but would have preferred a QB sneak.

The onsides kick didn't matter since we tied the game and should have won. Roddy was open in the endzone, he should have caught that.

The playcalling in OT was horrible.

We got cute on a 2nd & 2 and passed when we should have run it.

The run up the middle on 4th down was terrible...

I hated the play call and execution

Run some misdirection. Turner could have cut it outside...the defensive line was right there in front of him. No way he gets that.

And that's exactly why we should have had running plays because they had started to respect the pass. That and also the fact that it was OT and defense is all tired.

The point is if you don't trust your OL to generate room for a QB sneak worth of 2 inches, how can you then call a run up the middle in that situation?

The 4th and Inches Play....

1. Blocking fell apart, Saints D-Line bull-rushed
2. Turner - WHY THE FUCK does he always run right into his blockers? He could have bounced it outside or something but he just ran right into the bull rush up the middle. Stupid.

3. Gonzalez was standing by himself on the outside edge. Misdirection, Play Action? Mularkey fucked up.

4. Or just Punt the damn ball - Mike Smith - we're on our own 30 yard line. Our Defense was doing pretty good, we had just stopped the Saints.
