There was no way it was Lewis. Blank said no in house hires. I am actually surprised he wasn't fired.

Now the real question is, how long does Nolan stay if he has immediate success? We definitely don't need a coordinator who will only be here a year or two simply to look for a better job in the near future. Outside of that skepticism, I am absolutely in love with this hire! The Dirk Koetter aftertaste is now gone.

Actually Nolan has said he enjoys being a coordinator much more than being a HC. He feels that's where you really get to coach the guys and that's where the action is. Of course he can always change his mind, but that's his thought line most recently.
