He might be also provide a nice hog for our 4-3. I wonder if the 4 3 or 3 4 will be the base in our multi. I played in a Multi my final 2 seasons it is intense because the playbook is massive so many audibles checks at all three levels shifts. We ran a 4 4 base with our OLBs being 230lb freaks. And myself and another thumper at MLB. I was the read and react player of the two. He was the berserker. We had a 43 a 34 a 5 2 and 2 5. I can imagine Nolan will give looks that confuse the QB at the the line. Come out showing 43 and then shift to 34. I can't wait lets fucking go.

Yea A Dolphins reporter hinted that we could possibly pick up a FA D-lineman that played under Nolan

RE: MIKE NOLAN!!!!
I am excited about him taking the reigns of the defense. It was a real shock because I did not think he would come here with the level of talent we have on defense. He doesn't have a lot to work with, but he is the kind of guy that will make the most of what he has.

No more Vanilla or commentators saying: "So predictable" "Soft Zone"

RE: MIKE NOLAN!!!!
I think Nolan will be able to poach Soliai and possibly Langford from the Dolphins. They would be too expensive to tag outright and you can't tag both. With a change in scheme, they may follow the scheme that just left. It would solve the NT and 3-4 DE need.

You can say that again bro! Throw that vanilla bullshit out the window now. I can't wait to punch the Saints in they're mouth with this new defense.

It's also going to help practicing against each other. It's going to be a chess match at practice. Hopefully he let's Lofton step up and be a leader or give it to Spoon. The thing I like most about this hire is Nolan has no relation with these guys and will play the best players.

Love this hire, liked Spags, but believe there is more substance to Nolan and i thought Smitty and Nolan had spent some time on the same coaching staff. Regardless Nolan doesn't dick around and isn't the cartoon character Van Gorder was.

He may have more to work with than we think- could be that if you let players like Edwards, Sidbury, Biermann, Lofton rush the passer, they may look a whole lot better. Could be if you're playing bump and run instead of soft zone, our secondary looks much better.
