Looks like its bye bye Lofton. He must really be looking for a high price. Lofa can cover I give him that. I think this can work as a bridge gap with Vet leadership in their too. Guess we are looking for a more P. Willis like ILB.

That stutter step and go cracked me up. Looks like someone used to play on offense growing up.

Well depends on if we bring Pete back. Pete could play all the spots. But you are certainly right. Although he is still perhaps two young to play that Pete role in some ways. Dont you think?

I like how Solly says, "That's what makes an every down linebacker."

Must agree, I am guessing this is the swan song for Lofton. If they have signed him at this juncture I don't see anyway he is resigned. Go get that Money Curtis... Wreck somebodys cap numbers for us...

Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are probably right. Lofton is a class act and a fine MLB. I wish him well.

Tatupu has had a bettter career than Lofton but his health is a major concern. He has had knee surgeries as well as a pectoral tear. Having said that, he will be an upgrade on passing downs. Tatupu is athletic but what sets him apart is his knowledge of the game. For that reason, he should be a great player that can act as a "coach" to the other LB's. With this move, I expect us to draft another LB this season.
