A lot of times, younger coordinators get HC interviews as favors to people who know them. It bolsters their resume. I seem to recall Koetter getting attention for HC jobs last offseason too, so that might not be the case with him. But I'd sure like to think he wouldn't come here for 1 year and leave.

Nolan, obviously, is a different kettle of fish.
