He's a fucking kid. I'm 24, and I'm older than him.

He's also being paid a billion dollars to catch the football. He's going to catch hell when ones that hit him in the hands fall to the turf. The cardinal rule of if it hits you in the hands, you catch it goes back to even HS WR's.

I have a feeling that Julio is going to be cringing when he watches the film of himself this week.

I know I was! I hope he gets more pissed than we did, I have to think he will. Saban doesn't say much nice about anyone but he had lots of good things to say about Julio. My hope is that today ends up being what propels him to the next step in his evolution.

I mean, he is going to improve, it's inconceivable to me that this is just how it will always be. A rookie had a bad game where he made a lot of mental mistakes. Wow, there's a shocker!

So, I peeked over at AFMB and the first thing I saw up top was a swift I told you so thread, I didn't read it but I wouldn't be surprised if his first post was at 1:30. I'm glad his infection has been contained over there.

Roddy's turning point (at the time anyway, since he's relapsed) was the Saints game in '06 when he dropped the wide open pass that would have allowed him to walk into the endzone and Mora dropped to his knees in shock. I pray that today is that day for Julio because I really don't want to hate him again.

I'm not blaming Julio, he's a ROOKIE what did some of you accept ? Didn't TD and Smithy think this would happen with a rookie? This is one of the many reason why I thought the trade was a bad one.

The team is set up to win NOW the team was 13-3 not many missing parts when you go 13-3 one of them isn't bringing in a rookie WR while selling the farm to get him.

This trade I'm afraid will effect the team for the years to come, giving up all those draft picks was so STUPID ... TD even though has made some good moves has totally screwed this team over with that trade.

I love how people still talk about something effecting a team for "years." That simply doesn't exist any more. We won't have a 1st and 4th round pick next year. Between FA, trades, compensatory picks, we're not going to be at a loss for talent for the next 5 years.

How in the world can you say this? You're talking about next year picks what about last years picks that we traded away, why aren't you counting those. How different would this team be now and in the future if we had kept MJ and 5 draft picks. 2 first 1- 2nd and 2- 4th. The decisions a team does today ultimately effects them for years to come. So far the JJ trade hasn't panned out and if it never does then this trade will effect them negatively for years to come saying otherwise is just plain illogical or blind homerism

so now you're using a pretty huge what if(JJ not panning out, ever) to call the trade stupid and deduce it will affect the team for years to come? lol...
