RE: Julio Jones
Not to high jack, but Roddy had several key drops today too. WTF is up with our receivers this year?
Plus Ryan missed those 2 bombs in the first quarter. What a horrible depressing game. |

Too bad we're not in playoff contention and he has made some big plays this year. Tough loss. Had he made that catch what would you be saying? |

For me its effort, not running back in a crunch time drill, not knowing your route and the QB getting picked on a decent drive. (which has happened several times) It is just becoming frustrating when it doesn't matter if Ryan is a fucking Robot they'll drop the pass. If Ryan is off, they'll drop the pass. It's just maddeningly frustrating. |

Had he made that catch what would you be saying? Julio has had a terrible year if you want to compare the production output compared to what we gave up for. Now he has a bright future but he has been disappointing and injury prone this year. We're in playoff contention but it's not like we're gonna do anything in the playoffs even if we're in. If he had made that catch I would be saying lucky catch but that doesn't make up for a poor showing, especially his mental errors (causing Ryan to call a timeout & especially not hustling back with time running out). |

RE: Julio Jones
athletically and size wise, he's almost identical to Andre Johnson only a little faster. He's had some bad drops this year, but we knew that would happen. He wasn't at 100 percent today and still made some fantastic catches, not to mention he's already an elite run blocking receiver. His biggest knock coming out of college was the inconsistency of his hands, so don't act surprised when Julio doesn't catch every single ball within a 10 mile radius in his 9th career NFL start. I'm standing behind Julio until the end (12-15 years from now by the looks of it), because even with his negatives, he's one of the most talented players to roam the Georgia Dome in a long time. For those who are criticizing the trade because of a few mistakes, turn off your damn computer and come back tomorrow when you start thinking straight again. It happens to the best of us, I was screaming Chris Redman at the beginning of the 1st quarter today. When the Falcons have a shitty game, leave it to us to say the dumbest stuff in order to justify our emotions.

Its just the frustration man, and as I said before not knowing and not hustling are what's killing me. No doubt he'll be good maybe great, just a few of the simple things that anyone can do. Combine that with the drops plus the Texans beating us with their scrubs in, just frustrating dude. But I'll say this, I support all Falcons until they're time is up (yes you guys too sam baker and chris owens) but like any family I get upset with 'em sometimes. |
