RE: Jonathan Massaquoi
I wonder what things would have been like if they just handed Kroy the keys last year instead of signing Edwards. I've always thought he has nothing but potential. Now he can live up to it and get us that 5-8 sacks we expected from Edwards.
I've seen Kroy line up in that 3 DT set that we run to stop the run at times. I know its not 4 DT when he is in there but he has lined up at DT in the past.
It would be interesting to put Abe on the outside standing on one side and put Massaquoi and his speed standing on the other side. One of them should be fast enough to mess the pocket. It would be nice to get that kind of speed after Freeman this week.

RE: Jonathan Massaquoi
Kroy has been amazing this year. He's always had tons of potential and flashes of greatness.

This year, even though his numbers don't show it, he has made his presence felt.

Yep. Kroy is just like Patrick Kerney. Never ending motor.

Hindsight is 20/20. I didn't think Kroy had it in him to be the full time guy back then, but he has proven me wrong.

never ending motor yes.....just like Kerney....no....I wish we had a young Kerney....thet MOFO knew how to tackle......I do like the Beerman very much but seriously there was something about Kerney....

Also wish we had a Tuggle......Weatherspoon is close except he talks a lot....Lofton reminded me of Tuggle.....then we let him go (which has been okay and you have to do what you have to do) but could you imagine if we had not signed Edwards and we would have kept lofton.....I think our defense would be outstanding...

Would rather have a MLB that can actually cover. He's been abused in coverage this year.

I dont think Lofton would have seen the field often on passing downs....at least as much as we could help it.

We can agree that Lofton and Edwards weren't worth the money.

The young guns will get their opportunities. Although I like Sidbury and Massaquoi, I think that Matthews will eventually turn out to be the best of the bunch. I have no insider information. I am just going on the gut feeling that Matthews has the most aggressive attitude.

I fucking wish....
