I think the Seahawks would have likely won anyway, but you are correct that Shanahan ruined the small chance to win that the early lead provided.

I didn't get to watch all of the game, I had to take my grandmother food and take my daughter back to her mother's house. From what I've read, it sounds like he should have come out after the big hit, he was hobbling after that.

I saw him go down for good in the 4th, it was sickening. And I didn't watch it, but from all accounts Shannahan acted like a total douche in the post game conference and it's come out that he lied that the doctors cleared RGIII when Dr. Andrews himself said he didn't.

They have taken concussion symptoms and going back into the game decisions out of coaches/players hands and put it in the hands of the medical staff; it might be time to at least have the conversation on extending that to other injuries.
