Honestly that makes me feel better. I'm glad the players hate running in that fool ass system. We need a Gruden Mcdaniels type that's gonna say eff those bastards over there, let's score some points. And have us play fast loose and fun. That's what we need, and that's how we're built.

The problem with that is that it is akin to throwing in the towel and starting over. Seems like an overreaction, maybe we should try something else first, like a new OC/scheme. We know exactly what will happen if we were to fire Smith - the start of another "process", and most of the time those don't go as well as ours has. It's not like we haven't done some good things the last 4 years, but yeah obviously some things need to change if we want different results. |

I feel you but the only thing that keeps me in Smitty's corner is that he and MMs philosophy can't coexist. Smith doesn't really know offense so I'd like to see him with an aggressive and creative OC and maybe he wouldn't be forced to make dumb decisions. before we dump Smitty & Ryan we need to see them with someone who knows how to use all the weapons we have. just my opinion

I'd like to give him one more year if he agrees to replace Mularkey. If he refuses, then fire him. Regardless, I wouldn't be terribly upset if Blank just says to hell with it and starts over from scratch. The whole culture of the team needs to be changed. Smith was the right guy in 2008, but now that we have some actual playmakers the don't make mistakes approach is holding us back. |

Guy has coached a team into the playoffs 3 out of 4 years already. I'm not worried about Smitty. The coordinators have taken this team as far as it can go. It's time for a change and the players will be vocal about it.

I'm fine with coach Smith but like I said a better OC would most likely keep him out of situations to make dumb decisions

RE: Jason Cole Yahoo! article. Some not so surprising comments from our players.
ok maybe i'm the only one here seeing this. but Roddy, damn, you lead the league in drops! some of them game changers for sure. the first TB game, you dropped a pass that could have put us in position to win the game. dropped some today. and you want to throw the oline under the bus? maybe they feel like 'fuck it, we'll pass protect and roddy will just drop the ball'
stupid drops, stupid penalties, stupid twitter.....i for one think maybe we need to see what kind of draft picks we can get for RW, he's turning into a cancer ok, got that off my chest. as i have made no secret, if we're a lynch mob hanging MM's career here in the great ATL, i'll gladly slap the damn horses ass Chew on THAT, Petunia!
