RE: Jacquizz Rodgers
2011:
Rodgers - 27 targets, 21 catches
Turner - 26 targets, 17 catches

And remember a non-caught target doesn't automatically mean a drop, because you can be targeted but the throw still may be uncatchable from the QB.

Example:
Roddy had 181 targets last year but only 100 catches.

I pointed out that in games (Chargers, Panthers) where Turner ran good (because of good blocking) Rodgers didn't run good in. How is that wrong?

I never said Rodgers drops as many passes as Turner. I said almost as many. But whatever. That wasn't even the main point of this thread.

RE: Jacquizz Rodgers
Rodgers is fine....if you watch him in college he would get stuffed on several plays then break huge runs.....problem is we don't use him on every third down or run him in a series or two....he is a player that gets better the more you use him....if/when turner gets suspended for his DUI.....if they let Quizz take over you will see.....he did it against big guys who are now on other teams defensive lines....there is no doubt in my mind he is talented......he is a faster version of MJD they just have to utilize him more

Sorry but don't get to see a whole lot of Pac-12 games especially Oregon State.

RE: Jacquizz Rodgers
look up some of his highlights on youtube.....just realize that he won't do it as much until he gets repetition that is where he figures out seems and exploits them

RE: Jacquizz Rodgers
Quizz hasn't put up some of the stats we expected this year but lets not completely jump ship. He has been a key part of this offense too. I can clearly remember a few plays where Quizz has moved the chains on key plays with a few fancy moves. He can make the first guy miss when he gets in open space and although the stats don't show it entirely he has found a way to contribute with limited touches. I'm still very high on Quizz and his future and am still curious as to how he'd perform given a full work load. We haven't seen that in a game yet, but I still have this feeling we'll use him more coming out of the bye week. This will help ensure Turner is fresh for the playoff push and not being totally relied on down the stretch.

RE: Jacquizz Rodgers
He is still kind of a project. Undersized and quick but also a low draft pick and a back up.

It wasn't a "change the offensive scheme" thread, so obviously you can't read, or just chose not to read. It was more a "I wonder what the true problem is pertaining to the turnovers we have seen the past couple of weeks". I think the fact that you think it was a thread saying change the scheme is funnier than if it WAS a thread where I demanded a scheme change.

Seriously, I'm not a guy who jumps ship when we are 6-0. You can't change a scheme during the season. More like maybe we need to incorporate some different formations to keep defenses on their toes.
