Before halftime, I said "if we go into halftime 14-6, we are going to lose"

And expectedly, I received a lot of backlash for making that comment. But I knew if We did not at least go into halftime 21-6 or 21-3, that The Third Quarter was going to happen.

And it did. Again.

I know the initiative this season being preached is to "Start Fast" - and we have definitely done that the past 2 weeks. But its more important that we learn to just Finish. But we are not that good to do that. We dont make adjustments at halftime. So unless we are up by 3 scores at halftime against elite teams - we are going to lose those games. Thats what it is right now.

I have Never seen a team play so Well for 30 minutes, and then play so Badly the other 30 minutes in the Same game. One extreme to the other in 60 minutes.

We played the same exact game against Seattle, and only because Seattle is a much suckier team than GB did we pull out that Win.

Not a good trend. But it is a fixable problem. We know we can Dominate a team for 30 minutes. We just need to stay the course for the other 30. Just gotta do it.

Right at halftime, I said I had a terrible feeling that we were going to lose our 8 point lead in Atlanta Falcon fashion. Some guy called me a troll because of it, the oxymoron of who I am as a fan. During a game like that, emotions run high and sometimes you say whatever you feel like to make you a little less pissed off.

Yea i got an earful for my halftime prediction, but im used to it.

And the offense is even worse! I still think they'll win, but only if they don't shoot themselves in the foot with penalties and turnovers.
