They were on Matt Ryan harder, and they ONLY had to send four to get him. Not the case with Vick. Regardless, his longest pass that day was 30 yards, and that was Brent Celek over the middle, when he had a clean pocket and a TE that can burn LBers over the middle.

Still no excuse. Theres ryan homers here who saw it too. He had plenty of opportunities. At what point will you admit Ryan may not be the next brady or manning?

Big Ben is dumb as a box of jock straps and plays behind the worst oline in the league. The excuses are tired.

How do you know what opportunities he had? You couldn't see the coverage down field and nor did the Fox team show or talk about it. He didn't like what he saw. That doesn't mean he doesn't take shots and it doesn't mean our receivers don't do a better job of getting open.

I dont wanna sound like a giant homer but you do realize when their are 7 people dropping back it is quite hard to throw it deep when we will have 1 maybe 2 people going deep.

He didn't take one shot. Not one. There's more to it than some care to admit.

That pass to Gonzo didn't count?

What is deep? Vick didn't complete a single pass over 30 yards against the Bears last year, and that was when he had a clean pocket.

Vick isn't captain checkdown. This is Ryan's M.O. Vick still wings it when he's under pressure, yes he has games that aren't great just like all qbs. Ryan CONSISTENTLY looks like this, its just that usually we're a little more successful and lucky at times. Hes a dink and dunker who rarely takes deep shots, some of the lowest numbers in the league in that regard and definitely the worst when you rank him amongst the elite he's usually mentioned with.

What does Vick have to do with anything anyways? Why do you guys always bring up Vick. It's not fair to Ryan to compare him to superior qbs like that. He's not elite so stop comparing him to elite peers. Comparing him to Bradford, Kolb, Stafford, Sanchez, Freeman is more accurate than Vick,Rivers, Brees, Brady, Rodgers
