Falcons: I'm glad we lost

This is one of the worst games we could have lost. The Saints have always killed us, and they did it again. Nothing like a rivalry loss to bring you back down to earth. Hopefully we can stop the talk and win the rest of our games. Discuss

It hurts. But I agree, to a point. Hopefully we come out with a vengeance for the rest of the year.

I am not glad we lost. I think our team is mature enough to handle things regardless; winning is what we want. The Falcons franchise, from top to bottom including the locker room, is a well oiled machine at this point. I would much rather have the win.

At some point, no matter what you do, if you have a lot of success you start to feel untouchable. It's just normal, but a little bit of humble pie is good for everyone.

Also, this is one of thise games that if we make all the plays that we normally make, we win. We can't be perfect all the time.

A convincing win next week vs the Cards will make most of us forget about the Saints game completely.

I actually agree. I think having a zero on your record becomes a burden, and it's easier to play with a 1 in that column.

I live and die with the falcons. But I want to be strong for the post season. I don't care about being undefeated. I care about that no1 seed in the playoffs.

I don't think they killed us. There were plenty of opportunities for us to win that game. That said I agree with you the loss is irrelevant considering the slipping and sliding amongst the top of the NFC.
