Falcons: I'm fucking sick

I don't disagree that the media will do its thing, of course they will, but however it's going to be it would be worse if we had gotten destroyed. We may not get the respect we deserve but we did get some. Hell, even Marshall Faulk picked us Sunday and he was one of the biggest detractors in years past.

Agreed, I'm not a casual fan, and I have been trying not to look at sports stuff and stuff in general, but you look at the news, they play it again and I agree. It sucks. Not sure if I watch the game either, because I know we were 10 yards from winning it to the super bowl. I know we try to say, we will be back, but will we? I mean, I bet Titans fans said the same thing after when they played here for the super bowl, but I know we have had 3 back to back winning seasons, which we never have done. Just to say one good thing, were not old yet. As in Matt Ryan and to me hes in the elite zone, I know others, will say different, but 400 yards in one game in the playoffs, not sure if Manning or Brady did that. He's only going to get better.

Today didn't suck quite as bad as I thought it would (it still sucks when you first wake up in the morning and instantly my brain was replaying portions of the game). But, I got to have some good chats at work, which helped. One was even with a die hard 49ers fan but he was a gracious victor and was very complimentary to the Falcons, said we scared the hell out of him. All in all, the only thing will heal it is time. Once that happens I know it will be a damn good feeling knowing we'll be right back in the mix.
