I don't understand how reporters have sat and listened to Freddy Gonzalez puke cliches like they're going out of style night after night. I would have already lost my job and been in jail for punching him in the esophagus.

There's no attitude or anger or anything when things go wrong. It's always "We gotta lace up the shoes and go get'em next time." It's really, really tiresome.

Yep!

Runs his mouth and then even if his team wins can often look like garbage in the process. Matt speaks for himself with his play on the field and that only. I'll be honest and say I prefer that. Like Flacco's comments last year that he was Elite and then he would play like hot garbage. Being at the pinnacle of your sport is only achieved through the work you do not how much you say it.

They are having the conversation about Flaccid's status now, after one game all over NFL network. Meanwhile Matt scored 3 TDs in the air and 1 on the ground the same yardage and completion percentage and there isn't a hulapalooza over him. Why because the attitude he takes sets the tone. It says I am pleased with my day of work but I have been here before.

None of our players are the type to bray for attention. Even Riddy as much as he runs his mouth about other shit. He isn't proclaiming his greatness he does it on the field. And shit Julio is even worse a guy who is that dangerous knows it plays like it and doesn't beat his cheat about it all the time and be a diva. It's plain dangerous. Walk softly and carry a big hickr'y stick the Falcons are a team geared to making noise in the places that it counts.

All of the above... and I'll add that the way Matt handled the dissing in the top 100 players of 2011 was pretty cool... another reason I'm happy we got him rather than Flacco. He's the "Matty Ice" for a lot of reasons... like just cool.

RE: I Wish
We have swagger. We just save it for the field. See Sean running his mouth pre-snap at the Chiefs this week (he was going off), or Matt Ryan's response last year when he wore the mic ("You can't stop it!" to the LB sceaming they knew what play this was).

Our guys are hardly meek on the field. They are just well-coached to leave the drama out away from the game (other than Roddy's twitter... which I'm surprised doesn't get more heat from the staff).
