Falcons: I Had Another Dream

I had another dream last night. My dream for the Seahawks game turned out pretty good. I said the Falcons would run the ball great and they did. I said Ryan would throw a long TD to Roddy and he did.

The Falcons have opened the season on the road in 5 of the past 7 seasons so they're due to open at home. The NFL wants to really sell the Brady vs. Ryan matchup and since Ryan put a career best season last year and set all sorts of Falcon records in the process they can do that. Despite both teams losing in their conference championship games they can sell the Patriots vs. Falcons matchup because of both having won 13 games last season. Only twice since Ryan and Smitty has been here have the Falcons played a prime-time game on the road, 2009 and 2011 at New Orleans. All the rest of the Falcons prime-time games have been at home. So add this one to the list as the season opening SNF game.

Now here's the part that just blew me away about my dream. The Falcons waxed the Patriots 51-17. I clearly saw 51-17 on the scoreboard. Ryan starts off the season with 4 TD passes. The Falcons defense continues their trend under Nolan of making the elite pocket passing QB's look silly by intercepting Brady 3 times. The Falcons send a stern message to the whole league that there is no hangover from losing to the Niners the way they did.

If that were to happen, the media would not be saying how great the falcons played... instead it would be what's wrong with Brady and the patriots. As the Eminem/lil wayne song goes... Bitch you get no love

I don't care about the media. I would cream my pants. I get a little hard just thinking about the possibility.

I would be willing to accept a smaller margin of victory if you can guarantee that Chris Collinsworth will die in a tragic bass fishing accident before next season starts.

let's see, while he's getting ready to cast into deep water where the big bass are hiding, the hook catches his own collar, and he winds up throwing himself off the boat.

just before he hits the water, the hook gets loose and cuts him across the vocal cords on it's way out.........

Actually, you should make it a horrible felching accident since Colinsworth really talks out his ass. And then make him get arrested for cruelty to animals for killing the hamster.

Definitely some good plans here, would love to see them all actually. Would make for some great pay per view. Either that or a nice south park episode.
