Falcons: How many of you really felt like we would make a comeback today?

In honestly, I wasnt very nervous at all. I said to many of my friends that "THIS IS IT" for us, the 2nd half of today's game was the make or break for the season. Many of my them said "same ol' falcons, same ol falcons, they just cant be a year in, year out playoffs contender".

But i told them, watch out. This can be the moment where we get our "SHIT" together and get it done. So we did. I'm very proud of our team.

Hopefully this is really a turn around moment of us. Carry this momentum till the end of regular season and into the playoffs, we could be a dangerous team to play.

Anyways back to my original question, how many of us really thought we could of pull this one out?

Judging from the chat room this number better be extremely low lol...i knew we'd make it close and it was anybody's game from there

Honestly.... no. I thought we were disenchanted at the half, knowing how we play in the 3rd. Considering how we played, figured we would fizzle out.

I thought it was very possible, but I knew we were in deep shit. You aren't going to see me call it until it's done though. I think everyone knows how anal I am about people who quit early.

I'll be honest. The way we came out and got the TD was great. Then when we gave up 20+ straight points I was just like, holy cow how are we gonna do in the playoffs. I didn't give up hope completely because it was only the first half, then when I saw the stat of Cam newton of being 0-8 (now 0-9) when turning over the ball I had this hope glimmer, and it was true.

Anyways let us never do that again, because if we do that against the Saints/Packers/Any other playoff caliber team, you sure as hell know we aren't coming back from that.

I knew we were playing an inferior team and would make that very apparent at some point. You can only thrive with an offense like Carolinas if you have a very mature QB that can minimize the "bad" plays. As good as Cam may be, he is certainly not that. We have a much better team all the way around; our success this year, compared to Carolinas failure, is enough evidence to justify keeping the faith even when we are playing terrible football.

The key thing, in my mind, about being a "fan" is that you always believe in your team no matter how shitty they look. I am not knocking people who saw a three score deficit and lost their minds about how terrible we are. However, when you decide your team has no chance to win and give up; I just don't get it.

I wont lie...I thought it was over. MM had never given me a reason to be optimistic when we are down by so much. That is some crow i will gladly dine on.

Eh, I always hold out some hope, but I thought it was all but over based on how we were playing and our usual not-yet-played 3rd quarter swoon.

However, once we came out of the half playing some D and scored that TD, I knew CAR was in trouble.
