Receiver Kerry Meier will be one of 23 current or former NFL players to participate in the NFL Business Management Business Management Entrepreneurial “Investment for Impact” program at Notre Dame later this month. Injuries have limited Meier’s career, but I still think he’s a guy the Falcons believe can be a contributor as a backup receiver and special-teams player.

Waived injured' means the team is releasing the player but the player is injured. The team is responsible to pay the player until his injury has healed. This is usually done by reaching an agreement for a specific amount of money, called an injury settlement. Other teams are allowed to pick up players on the waived injured list but they are forewarned that the player is not in condition to play. Sometimes, if a player on the waived injured list is not selected by another team, the team will retain the player and place him on its injured reserve list.

LOL, well NOW, he has officially been waived.

So clearly, he was on the roster as I had been saying all along.

But apparently he's done with us. That sux too. The freaking guy could catch the damn ball. He must not have progressed from his injury enough to make the team. They can't put him on the PS and they won't open the season with him on the IR if he's not 100%. And we have 11 picks in this draft who will needs spots between the 53 and PS.

After his brother dies in a freak accident and then he misses two season in a row with nasty injuries, just damn bad luck. I hate it for the guy. I hope he recovers from all this bad shit that's happened to him. You gotta think the universe is against you with this much strife hitting you for 3 straight years.
