Looking at Spotrac.com, they have contract info on all our official signings except Baker. Without his contract and without Gonzo, they list us at a little more than $19 million under the cap.

I'm not even going to enter the Meier debate at this point except to say I see him as being both listed on the active roster and having "dead money" from being cut. I guess we'll find out come training camp.

Having "dead money" does not mean you were cut. Matt Ryan is listed as having $2M of dead money. Roddy has $4.5M of dead money. Etc. etc. It is the "guaranteed" money is all it is.

True, and the "dead money" seems like a new feature. At least I don't remember it. From what I can tell, though, "dead money" is the amount a player would count against the cap in a given season if they were cut. For instance, Moore's contract lists his "dead money as

• 2013 - $14,000,000
• 2014 - $10,100,000
• 2015 - $4,950,000
• 2016 - $3,300,000
• 2017 - $1,650,000

Since when are all UFA's just automatically removed from the roster?

They aren't.

Grimes, Cox, Hope, Walker, Peterson, Svitek, McCown, and Owens are all UFA's.

So again, please explain why the Falcons official site roster would remove Sidbury the day he signs with another team and also remove Robinson, Turner, and Abe the day they are officially released, but they still list Meier and all the UFA's?

Why would they remove those guys the day they are off the team but according to you, they keep guys listed on the roster who are not on the team?

I am not going to bash your stupidity. I have shown you official Falcons website saying they have waived-injured Kerry Meier. You show me that he is still on the roster same with UFA. That is exactly proving my point. They are on roster as a technicality. They are not on the Atlanta Falcons roster going forward.Unless they are resigned. Just cause they list Grimes,McCnown on roster that does not mean they are on the Atlanta Falcons.
