Good work as usual Em, should be a close game. I'm torn on this one!

Thanks for the video Em. Really needed to see one tonight.
What do you think we should start doing on 3rd down D? Seems we tend to send 3 guys to the QB and drop everyone into a soft zone. I believe this has been killing us because there is always a mismatch or small space to throw to. Also, do you think TB beating NO helped or hurt us in the long run? I believe it can bite us in the butt, especially if we don't split with NO.

You're right..it should be a close one, but I think the Falcons are built similar offensively to the 49ers thus matching up well with Detroit (10-19-2011 09:27 PM)phocis850 Wrote: Thanks for the video Em. I'm always under the train of thought that if you guys (or any other team) for that matter just beat the teams on your schedule...everything else will take care of itself. So, I don't think the TB/NO game has any bearings on what you guys do for the rest of the season

The only time I remember it hurting us, was when they layed down to Carolina in 08 making us the Wildcard. I don't think that Tampa team is anywhere close to being as good as that Panties team was. Tampa is a 9-7 team at best. Maybe 10-6. I just think they were the benefactor of playing teams that beat themselves. |

RE: Football Gameplan's Week 7 Preview Video - Falcons vs Lions
Did he not pick 'em to win? I didn't even listen all the way through. I've occasionally watched his vids. This week he seemed a little bit more on his game. He didn't pronounce too many names wrong.
BTW, that's a huge pet peeve of mine watching the games on TV too. I mean come on... I know there's a lot of guys and some have different names, but do you homework. Last week all game long the announcer was saying "Jay"-vid Best instead of "Jah"-vid Best. |
