I get your point on the limited draft picks, so how best to maximise them. What are your thoughts on the point I made regarding the personnel implications of bringing in Soliali. Who loses their spot if you bring a guy like him in ? If I had to choose I would say Babs looses out Peters is on the up swing and is more a long term option for us.

Sol is better than Babs and Peters. What was Peters like a 3rd rd draft pick or something? Not sure why you would be concerned about him being demoted, it's not like we're paying him a lot and it's not like he's some phenomenal player.

Peters and Babs are decent players, but I think someone like Sol has the ability to transform your defense. He's a giant who is versatile and can play in any defensive formation.

It was good enough to be able to at least get us to 13-3/14-2, along with a play-off win if we had an offense that could have held its own.

I see there's still people that think our defense was anything but bad. Of course these are the same people that defended BVG and MM all season but that's what happens when you think regular season record means anything. Just look at all that playoff success we had.........

Yeah, I watched the play-offs, and every regular season game. Our defense wasn't bad, and it played well enough for us to beat the Giants. When you hold several top 10 offenses well below their average for points scored, you're doing something right.

So here's my question. When will you stop referring to me as "people" and actually support your statements, instead of just doing the internet equivalent to repeating something with your fingers in your ears?

Then by that, getting Nolan to work his defense should make us true contenders in the playoffs.

What you're saying is that you preferred BVG over MM just because of their records. BVG was worse than MM. Our players covered up many of the mistakes that BVG did. And his entire time here we've never truly had a good pass rush. I'd say that the entire Dline regressed this last year. We did stop a lot of points and didn't do terrible against the run, but BVG was not what won those games.
