Falcons: Falcons to let Grimes walk?

I'm not mad with the FO if he has to go, because we could try putting that money into more players who can stay with us longer and not be injured. Brent missed a lot of time last season and I think missing NYG hurt him with the club. Not in a bitter way, because if he couldn't go he couldn't go. But he had like 2 weeks rest after NO. You telling me he wasn't even safe to suit up and try. If its that bad you are fortunate to not have longterm money locked up in. If it wasn't that serious and he didn't play then you gotta look at it and say well he couldn't trust us to go out there and play then get the contract done and he sat on us.

I'm not hating on Grimes or anything but there is a lot that we must no know about this situation.

Sure theree is. I just think the Falcons were stupid not to lock him up before the 2010 season or at the very latest during the 2010 season, the way the Packers did with Tramon Williams.

I recognize they can't afford him now. He is going to get a very large contract.
