I will give the benefit of a doubt and say maybe you thought this article was written 5 years ago. Seriously please say this is so....the bias is strong. I understand the rivalry and hatred but good grief.

Yeah I think it's more that he can't bear the thought of someone he likes, someone from his alma mater to be playing for the Falcons.

Rivers has had crap to work with these past two years. He is still an elite QB and given the right circumstances, like what Ryan has to work with, would be better than Ryan.

Players that play with Rivers all say he has a tremendous attitude and is a great leader and teammate. The last couple of years he has been forced to force everything as the management has totally screwed up the franchise. He needs to get out of the bad. I hope he stays in the AFC, though, because on a good team he would be deadly.

Guido are you serious? Rivers is the most overrated QB in the NFL. I would take Tony Romo over Philip Rivers. Yes. I went there and said that. How can anyone seriously take Rivers over Ryan? Wow. Just wow.

Yes. He has had nothing to work with the past few years. He lost anything even dependable at WR, Gates has been a shell of himself the past few years and management has let every RB with potential hit the road.

I wouldn't. If Rivers had what Romo has to work with he would have been actually winning playoff games.
