Its just our luck that if we do have a "season" the Falcons will probably win the Superbowl, and we will have a nice shinny Astrix to put in our trophy case followed by an entire year of "yea they finally won the big game, BUT..." and as far as credibility, I don't give a flying fuck what you or anyone else thinks about me, have a nice day(of course if I'm right its you that will look like the fool.)

Whatever. I won't look like a fool though. I wasn't running around shouting doomsday definitives like I had a crystal ball. You will have simply gotten lucky... unless you really are psychic... but yeah, no.

Anyway, if the courts decide something in July and the owners/players agree on a new CBA around the same time, they'll simply cut a couple games out of pre-season in August. They could still get in a 4-6 week TC that way and that's not going to cause an "asterisk" (not astrix) to be labeled on the SB champs.

I dont care anymore my life is a repitition of unfulfilled meaninglessness every day and Im just waiting for something to destroy me and spare me of this filthy fruitless existence. I should have dived into that wood-chipper when I had a chance.

I dont always drink beer, but when I do I drink a lot of them. Stay drunk my friends.

Sean Leahy of USA Today reports NFL commissioner Roger Goodell made clear on Wednesday that a decision for him to start cancelling preseason games because of the lockout is approaching.

“We’re getting close enough where those will have to be considerations,” Goodell said of considering cancelling preseason games. “Obviously we would prefer to get a negotiated agreement so we don’t have to make those decisions.”

Goodell reiterated that the more time the lockout lasts, the harder it will be for a deal to be reached.

“The longer it goes the more damage is done to the game and the more revenue’s down and that means less money that can be divided between the parties,” Goodell said.
