Tell me again why it makes sense for the mediocre guy to be the boss of the genius? I think you're seeing the worst possible outcome out of a set of the worst possible scenarios in a situation that probably isn't going to be that big of a deal at all. |

RE: Falcons promote Rich McKay to CEO
Ok, you're all welcome to your opinions. Time will tell. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think so.
Look at it this way: would bellichik accept a gm role in this situation? Would cowher? Dimitroff is one of the best gm's in the business. When does he stop getting treated like a smart little kid, and start being handed the keys to a franchise like he deserves? If Atlanta is not going to be smart enough to do it, some franchise will. But, it does not appear to be a problem yet, so I will keep my fingers crossed and hope everything works out ok. |

Thank god that Blank wise up and hired TD. umm, the man was raised his whole life on the football field, his dad was a heck of a college coach, didn't do a lot with the Bucs their first few seasons, but was a heck of a coach none the less. I wouldn't say Rich doesn't have a football background Chew on THAT, Petunia!

We were and this is no exageration the laughingstock of the league at the end of his tenure. Sooner or later McKay is going to try to meddle with personell issues and we are going to be burnt big time. Don't forget McKay drafted Jamaal Anderson with the 8th pick in the 1st round and DID not bring him in for a workout. For that reason alone he should be banned from Flowery Branch. Thanks for nothing, McKay. |

RE: Falcons promote Rich McKay to CEO
That sounds to me in buisness lingo, I want a raise. So give me a different title and more cash and I will stay instead of trying to be a GM again for a different team. Mckay is good on the buisness side of it, I could see why arthur would keep him, because they don't have to show those salaries in the salary cap.
