We don't even know what our defensive scheme will be next season, let alone if Grimes will fit it. If it calls for a lot of press coverage, then Grimes is basically useless.

That aside, Grimes will certainly not come cheap. When it comes down to it, I'd rather have a Brandon Carr along with a Ben Grubbs than only a 30 year-old Brent Grimes.

A great coordinator will equalize us getting rid of Abe and Grimes. Some games neither of them showed up. And others they didn't play due to injury.

I honestly see us moving to 3-4 because the only solid thing we have going are the LBs.

With that said. Everyone except the LBs and Moore could leave and my heart wouldn't skip a beat. None of the other players really stepped up. None of them.

With the way JJ Watt and Brooks Reed are playing it makes really no sense for Texans to keep Mario.
