truth hurts dont it. thats the best response you have? your god gm was wrong about kroy and sid. i dont need to give you one measly name to prove that TD has ignored the DE position. other teams have acquired DE's via free agency, drafting and trading over the last 3 seasons what prevented TD from doing the same? lack of available players or too much faith in his own picks. the latter. you lose good nite. son.

So, which of all these DEs that were acquired by other teams over the last three seasons were A) obtainable, and B) a significant upgrade over what we already had?

Keep in mind that "I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about" is an acceptable answer.

I don't believe he ignored the DE position. We had a rookie DE when he came in. Then we drafted an entire DL. On top of that, rookies have been getting season ending injuries. He's wanted a true DE, but it wasn't in the cards just yet.

from what i saw during the combines the last few years, Rich has improved his 40 time each of the last 2 or 3 years....wish i could find the link to him running where they superimpose him racing against the college guys...

You have so little clue how it really works, it's funny watching you flail all over yourself like a giant fool.

This is only TD's 4th year for damn sakes. And there were a lot more holes than just DE.

You play this "But if..." game using the success or unsuccess of the past to base your argument and that's not how it works. That's being called a Monday Morning GM and trying to act like you're psychic.

If TD had filled the DE position with a first round draft pick 3 years ago that was kicking ass, you'd be whining about how he's supposedly "ignored" some other position, like QB, or WR, or RB, or TE, or DT, or OLB, or SS, or CB, because one of those would have been the sacrifice and we'd be trying to fill that hole in FA just the same.

3 years to build a team from being absolute shit and still getting 3 winning seasons and 2x playoffs and 1x division champ isn't bad. He's done pretty damn good in such little time. Stop acting like you can fill every position every year with a superstar and never have to develop anyone. You look foolish.

Tbh there havent been too many impact LDEs available since TD has been here. Off the top of my head i can think of vandenbosch, Morgan (in the draft), Antonio Smith (was coming from a 3-4 so he was a ?), kampman (coming off Major injury) and peppers (much better rde than lde plus he wouldve taken up waaay more cap).

Edwards was our best option aside from maybe Morgan who was picked ahead of us. You cant really blame TD for trying to develop his draft picks.
