actually it has. if our pass rush improves our secondary is going to look beastly. those guys have taken a lot of undue heat. we could have had deion rod woodson charles woodson and ronnie lott manning the secondary and even they would have looked bad with our pathetic excuse for a pass rush over the past few years. it took a while for the front office to come to grips with the truth of the matter. they were very confident in our DE's over the last couple years only to walk away with egg on their face. at least they woke up. you think grimes looked good last year? oowee those boys are going to have a field day if edwards can get in there and our young DTs have aged enough.

yeah, like Roddy said it's easier to cover someone for 1 or 2 seconds instead of 3 or 4, when you give a QB enough time, someone is gonna break open

Refusing last year to hand a 30-year old DE an $85 million contract was the absolute right call. Move on.

peppers wasnt the only option at DE this team has had over the last 3 seasons. thinking kroy and sid were the answer was the wrong call. move on.

Peppers wasn't an option, period. Regarding all these supposed other options, I couldn't help but notice that you didn't name a single one. Why don't you list a couple so we can all have a good laugh?

so peppers was the only FA DE available over the last 3 years? We couldnt have traded for one? We traded 4 draft picks for julio jones we couldnt have landed one DE? We couldnt have traded up in the draft to get one? last year? the year before? Get real here, you act like TD himself didn't say we were fine at DE and that getting a pass rush from the interior and adding help at corner would help our existing DE's get over the hump. You want to wax over the fact that biermann and sidbury HAVE NOT done what they were brought in to do and that was be a consistent problem to opposing qbs. biermann is close but not quite there. Dhall would be a better option than Sidbury for rushing the passer at this point. you want to give TD a pass as if Edwards is the first chance he's had to address the DE position. get over yourself.

you cant get over the fact that your god GM might have made a mistake in trusting sidbury and biermann to be "THE GUYS" when it's painfully obvious that's exactly what happened. the secondary has taken a lot of heat and revamping over the last few years only to reveal that there is STILL a problem at the DE position. why do you think every mock draft for the last 3 years had us taking a DE? lol
