Just going to stop trying to figure it out and cheer until the last game and get ready for next year. Get ready for next year? Nice defeatist attitude. God damn America is full of losers. And people wonder why this country is going down the drain? LOL! It's because you have pussy ass Americans who throw in the towel at any sign of adversity. And when things don't go there way they look around to point the finger at someone else. They are groomed to think things are easy. Welcome to the real world folks, nothing comes easy!

Falcons lose but...

We held them to 17 points, had two defensive TDs nullified by penalties, even if one was a bit crazy, and had so many wide open opportunities to scorch them through the air it wasn't even close to being funny. Right, and if we were the better team yesterday we would've made those plays. |

There's a difference between a great team that is inconsistent and an okay team that over achieves. If we weren't a good team, we wouldn't of ever had those opportunities against a quality opponent. |

They are groomed to think things are easy. Welcome to the real world folks, nothing comes easy! And this is about America how??? really a stretch there Dale, c'mon be serious. On topic of the Falcons losing to the Texans, yeah we lost to a better "Team", but it's the simple fact we, the team, are not even on the same page. Why is Ryan or the receivers not trying to fix the problem, what is the O-line doing (talking about the 4th down attempt and the D getting by easy)? I'm sure there's a lot more behind the camera stuff we'll never see, but my gosh we are inconsistent. Might as well watch the Eagles every week if we wanna just watch inconsistency. From what I can remember, we were built on consistency and not playing stupid, somewhere between last year and this year players forgot all about that. Coaching staff needs to instill the Smith way and start playing like we Know they can, instead of trying to be the Packers/Saints and just throw whenever we feel. Last piece of rant, if a player is injured let them sit longer, i'd rather use the backups and let our primary players rest another week and get 100% instead of rushing Julio or Turner in, just looking at yesterday, Turner was looking concerned with re injuring the groin, and JJ just didn't look like he wanted to play. Anyways, still pissed we lost to the 3rd string QB and making Yates look like Brady. -ROCK CHALK!!! |

Good to know. |

While I don't agree with his full response, I do agree that the "get ready for next year" SEEMS defeatist and INDICATES you're counting us out of the Super Bowl. And I understand how he feels slightly bc just last year GB lost to us in week 12. Shortly thereafter they hit their stride. So its not uncommon to have faith that something will be figured out. Now I'm not saying the statement was actually defeatist, just that it seemes that way |

I didn't say we weren't a good team, I think we are, and we definitely underachieved yesterday, but all in all yesterday the Texans were better. |

I haven't counted us out of anything, but I definitely see what he's saying. I do this every year around this time win or lose. I start prepping for the next year kinda early. I don't share everything I do, but right now I'm looking at positions and seeing where we could improve. Do I think we will go to the SB? Not likely, but not impossible. What I was saying earlier was simple though. No need to beat the team up over this loss and no need to call guys out for their jobs. We all know what has been going on and what is needed. I'm ready for the team to do better, but I'm not so certain we will actually be able to make necessary changes to go that far. We were a better team last year it seems. All of that is okay, so no matter what someone thinks of me I have always been this way. Still excited and waiting for a crumb of any kind, but also looking forward to the offseason. |

In the real world, Yates merely managed the game while the Texans' Top 3 rushing attack bashed our defense in the first half, then gashed that same worn out and injury-depleted unit in the second half. Nobody seems to be aware that these are the same Texans who beat the now 9-3 Steelers on their home field by the exact same score of 17-10 by running the ball down the throat of their #1 ranked defense. This just in: Beating Top 5 defenses on the road is hard. Very hard. Doesn't matter who you are. |
