I know it hurts those guys a lot, especially sense they are not the ones who make decisions. Funny you should mention Les. I've sat down with him a few times, including last week in Seattle, and I really like the guy. He's a man's man. I think you'd feel the same way about Smitty if you knew him. I've been on a first name basis with about a half-dozen head coaches, and I don't know any that are better suited to the CEO role a head coach has to assume. I just might agree with you, though, about some of those other initials you mentioned. If Smitty has stumbled at anything, it could be in his staff selections, and the depth of his loyalty. But bear in mind that this is his first time on the HC carousel. He didn't have a track record that would necessarily let him get his first choices, and the Atlanta situation at the end of 2007 was something a lot of people wanted no part of. |

Just cause its you I'll ease up on Smitty. Just because its you and I know to trust what you say in particular. I really REALLY dislike TD though. He's not genuine...not a genius...and I seriously think that Les Snead or even a janitor can do his job better. |

Well the players have to execute as well and I'm sorry but tonight Matt played a really poor game imo. We put more pressure on Rodgers than the Packers put on us and he still couldn't make any throws. He stood out like a sore thumb tonight with his accuracy issues and not throwing the ball to our playmakers so they can make plays. His 2011 campaign has been below average, call me what you want but he's not getting it done. He has to step up.

Took me long enough. Edwards finally gets a sack, but against a second stringer, we could not run consistantly (took me long enough), Ryan can't throw an accurate deep pass for nothing. I feel you bro. 100% |

RE: Falcons go into a prevent offense/defense after halftime
Why don't we sell up the franchise and pack it off to LA, seems like the stress is too much these days. There are some problems, big problems in this team. It is obvious we needed the off season to get us ready, to install plan and drill all we wanted to. That us the FAlcons through and through, organised and structured. Those who are saying we are not adaptable, I agree and that is something that seems ingrained in the team. This may or may not be the year. At this time last year Green Bay looked in the suck to, and look how that turned out. Everyone in the football world is looking to have them balls deep in them including fans in this board. This is the first major black mark on this regimes era and the impatience to throw TD and MS under the bus is remarkable. I understand adjusting the coordinators, but you want to get rid of the top guys after what they have done fine go ahead.
I understand the frustrations that people have, but keep a reasonable head. Claiming Matt Ryan is not the one for this team is ridiculous, I tell you this now. We let him go, a team that can build him into an offense that he can use, and that our players are more suited to with their ability as burners and route runners it is going to come back and bite us in the ass like Brees. Anyone remember Greenbays first year under Rogers, how do you think they high enough up the draft to get Raji. It was not spectacular 3 -4 years on its all his. |

RE: Falcons go into a prevent offense/defense after halftime
HD caught that fucking ball. He caught it, took 2 steps, the replay clearly showed him with it craddled in his arm, then he hit the ground and it was still there until he rolled over to his side locked up with the defender and THEN it came out.
That was a mother fucking catch. GD refs. Sherrod had his hands in Biermann's and Edwards facemasks and was holding like a bitch all damn night and no calls. Clabo gets called on a BS holding that happened 2 full seconds after Ryan had already thrown the freaking ball 40 yards to HD. Every time they did a slow motion replay, Collinsworth had to comment on how GB got away with a hold or hands to the face. He finally stopped commenting on them because he had Rodgers dick so far down his throat like a faggot. We're getting totally fucked up the ass with a broomstick by the refs this season. I'm so tired of them sucking ass and taking away big plays for us on horrible calls and screwing us on no-calls. Those 2 plays were huge, HUGE. This is a different game if HD doesn't get robbed of 90 more yards. |

RE: Falcons go into a prevent offense/defense after halftime
Oh, and this Matt Ryan is the problem shit is insane idiot talk. He has no confidence in his OL, and for perfectly good reason. And this effects everything. Timing, accuracy, reads, playcalling, everything. Neither of those int's are on him and it's hard as hell to have timing down when you're constantly seeing 250+ lb unblocked defenders 5 feet away from you in full charge about to destroy your ass.
His worse play tonight was the bad early slide that missed the first down by a yard and then cost us to punt after the 5 yard penalty next play. But acting like he's the issue is stupid. |
