The home team determines what color to wear at home. You will see some teams who play in hot weather choose to wear white at home when the temp is hot (reflects the sun and all). The Bucs did that to us last year the first time we played them.

In addition to the Seahawks who have never wore white at home, this was interesting:

Vikings: 1964 every home game except only in the 1st quarter of their game vs. the Lions.

We have done it far more times than I remembered.

Yes. I know the hot weather teams like the Bucs, Panthers and Dolphins do it early in the season when it's still hot. But the Falcons play in a dome. That's why it was weird to me to see them wearing white at home.

And yes I know the Falcons used to do it back at old AFCS. But I should have said I was talking about specifically in the Dome.

Must have been something Dan Reeves liked to do for all those games in the Dome. Because the Falcons haven't worn white at home for a game in the Dome before or since Reeves was coach.

I just came across this game on Youtube of the Falcons wearing the white jerseys against the Broncos in 1997.
