Falcons Falcons Milestones

RE: Falcons Milestones
With 2 touchdown passes on Sunday Matt Ryan is up to 43 for his career. That is 8th best on the Falcons all-time list. He is currently 7 behind Jeff George and Bobby Hebert who both threw 50 touchdown passes while with the Falcons.

1. Steve Bartkowski - 154
2. Chris Chandler - 87
3. Chris Miller - 87
4. Michael Vick - 71
5. Bob Berry - 57
6. Jeff George - 50
7. Bobby Hebert - 50
8. Matt Ryan - 43

That is the hardest one on the list to overtake IMO. At this rate it will take about 9 years for Ryan to be #1.

Also, as long as Roddy sticks around, he should be #1 after 6 years.

Yeah it's going to take some time. But he's on a good pace. He's going to end this year with 60 or so touchdown passes. That's really good for only 3 years.

RE: Falcons Milestones
Here's something to help you get perspective on the POTENTIAL of this team. I've changed the stat number to the respective number they had after the exact same number of games in their career with the Falcons:

Head Coach Wins through the 35th Regular Season Game
1. Mike Smith - 22
2. Dan Reeves - 21 (however, he got us to the Superbowl his second year)
2. Jim Mora - 21
4. Leeman Bennett - 18
5. Jerry Glanville - 16
6. Dan Henning - 11
6. Norm Van Brocklin - 11

Quarterback Wins through the 33rd Start
1. Matt Ryan - 22
2. Chris Chandler - 21
2. Michael Vick - 21 (Spread out over 4 years due to injury)
4. Steve Bartkowski - 14
5. Chris Miller - 9 (Spread out over 4 years due to injury)

Quarterback Touchdowns through the 33rd Start
1. Chris Chandler - 50
2. Jeff George - 47
3. Matt Ryan - 43
4. Bob Berry - 42
5. Bobby Hebert - 34 (took 4 years due to being a backup part of the time)
6. Chris Miller - 31 (took 4 years due to injury)
6. Michael Vick - 31 (took 4 years due to injury)
7. Steve Bartkowski - 28

Wide Receiver Receptions through the 83rd game
1. Andre Rison - 423
2. Terence Mathis - 408
3. Roddy White - 340
4. Alfred Jenkins - 259

Wide Receiver Touchdowns through the 83rd game
1. Andre Rison - 56
2. Terence Mathis - 45
3. Michael Haynes - 34
4. Alfred Jenkins - 33
5. Roddy White - 29
6. Alge Crumpler - 23

Running Back Touchdowns through the 28th game
1. Michael Turner - 28
2. Gerald Riggs - 18
3. T.J. Duckett - 15
4. Jamal Anderson - 9
5. William Andrews - 7
6. Warrick Dunn - 6

Phocis - Bart did that in 11 years. Ryan is on pace to put up 168 TD's in the same number of games as Bart has IF he never gets any better and just continues on the pace he's on and stays healthy enough to start that many games for us.

Yep, if he can keep up the production of 25-30 or so TDs every year, it isn't going to take as long as some think.
